Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Event Lotto “Wallet Card Prize Draw” platform and websites (the “Service”), provided by Steeltype LLC (“Event Lotto”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
The Service
Event Lotto lets organizers create contests, issue personalized Apple and Google wallet passes to entrants, scan those passes at a booth, run a live leaderboard, draw a winner, and export entrant data. Features may change over time.
Accounts
Organizers must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under their account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Organizer responsibilities
- You are the controller of your entrants’ personal data and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and your own privacy notice.
- Attendee entry is always free. The Service provides no mechanism to charge attendees, and you must not require any purchase, payment, or other consideration as a condition of entry — free entry is what distinguishes a lawful prize promotion from regulated gambling.
- You are solely responsible for the legality of your contest, sweepstakes, or promotion — including official rules, eligibility, disclosures, registration/bonding, tax reporting, and prize fulfillment in every applicable jurisdiction.
- You will not use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or infringing purposes, or to send unlawful communications.
Acceptable use
You will not misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, reverse engineer it, or use it to violate any law or third-party right.
Fees and billing
Paid plans are offered per event or as an annual unlimited subscription, billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Fees are due as described at purchase, are exclusive of taxes, and are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing prospectively.
Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service. You retain rights in the content and data you provide, and grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service for you.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Event Lotto will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold Event Lotto harmless from claims arising out of your contests, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
